Mr Aman Bhasin is the Chief Information Officer at Preferred Health Partners where he has lead them to use cutting-edge technologies that enable and improve quality of healthcare while also improving the revenue cycle. He has lead initiatives including the creation of bi-directional interfaces to all labs and radiology referral partners, connecting electronically to the city and state for quality reporting, launching e-prescribing and starting a new virtualized call center on VOIP.
Mr Bhasin is a seasoned IT veteran having over 18 years of experience in verticals including Healthcare, Telecom and Financial. Prior to joining Preferred Health Partners, Mr Bhasin was in charge of Global Architecture and Solutions Delivery at Mformation Technologies where he architected and optimized device management software deployed at leading wireless carriers around the world as well as co-writing an innovative patent for managing devices behind firewalls. Earlier in his career he was VP Global Head of Infrastructure at Deutsche Bank where he lead a world wide team dealing with electronic connectivity from all clients. Mr Bhasin holds a MS in Engineering Management from NJIT and a BBA in Computer Information Systems from Baruch College (City UNiversity of New York).

Joseph Orlando is the president and Chairman of the board of Directors of Bergen Regional Medical Center, LP. Bergen Regional Medical Center is both the largest hospital with 1,070 beds and the largest licensed nursing home in New Jersey. Mr Orlando is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives with more than three decades of experience managing large and medium sized hospitals in the New York metropolitan area in New Jersey. He has served as the president, chief executive officer, chief operating officer, senior vice president or senior staff member of numerous hospitals or hospital organizations including: Barnert Hospital, Paterson, New Jersey; New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation; Staten Island University Hospital; Long Island College Hospital; Terence Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center, New York, New York, Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, New York.
Prior to joining Bergen Regional in 2009, Mr Orlando was the Executive Director of Corporate Development for Monroe College, Bronx, New York. He received his undergraduate degree from Pace University in Pleasantville, New York and his Master's degree in Hospital Administration from Wagner College in Staten Island, New York.

Prior to joining VNSNY in 2004, Mr Check held senior IT positions at NYU Medical Center and Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City(1985-2004), IT consulting roles with Price Waterhouse (1981-1985) and financial management positions with the City of New York (1976-1981). Jim Younkin is a Program Director of Information Technology at Geisinger Health System. Mr Younkin is responsible for development of the Keystone Health Information Exchange (KeyHIE), an established regional health information exchange (HIE) organization in Pennsylvania that is currently sharing healthcare information between several disparate healthcare organizations. He has managed both planning and implementation grants from the Agency for Healthcare Research and quality as well as a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Health to expand the HIE.
KeyHIE currently includes thirteen member organizations, representing twelve hospitals, more than 90 clinics, skilled care, long-term care and home health organizations with a goal of serving all 53 hospitals and 9,000 physicians in central and northeastern Pennsylvania. Today the exchange receives data from 7 hospitals and 42 clinics and is in use by more than 250 clinicians in three emergency departments and physician office settings. More than 385,000 patients have signed authorizations, allowing their information to be shared for treatment purposes through this exchange which is the largest in Pennsylvania and one of a few in the nation using the national standards promulgated by the Health Information Technology Standards panel (HITSP) under the Department of Health and Human Services.
Mr Younkin is also responsible for developing Geisinger's Telehealth program through a contract with the Federal Communications Commission's Rural Health Care Pilot Program.
Mr Younkin has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science with more than 20 years of healthcare IT experience including management of large implementation projects at numerous hospitals. He is a contributing author to the Guide to Establishing a Regional Health Information Organization (HIMSS,2001).

Prior to serving as Executive Director of New York ehealth Collaborative, Dave Whitlinger served as the Director of Healthcare Device Standards and Interoperability for the Intel Corporation in it's Digital Health Group. Mr Whitlinger was responsible for Intel's healthcare device interoperability strategies and the standards development to support those strategies. He has also led a large, cross-industry consortium, the Continua Health Alliance, focused on the establishment of an ecosystem of interoperable, personal telehealth systems. Mr Whitlinger was with Intel from 1993 to 2009. Prior to establishing the Healthcare Device Standards Group, he worked on a wide variety of wireless standards. As a result, Mr Whitlinger and his team have held leadership roles in many standards organizations throughout the world, including: Health Level Seven (HL7); Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (HIE); IEEE 1073; Bluetooth SIG; WiMedia Alliance; Homeplug Alliance; UPnP Forum; Oasis; WSI;and the Digital Living Network Alliance (DNLA). He also served on the Bluetooth SIG Board of Directors for several years. Mr Whitlinger is the author of five research journal articles, four of which focused on breast cancer DNA analysis.

Jason Hess, KLAS General Manager of Clinical research: Jason has thirteen years of experience in Business development Marketing, Consulting and Sales, including seven years working with the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries where he earned several national performance awards. He is responsible for all clinical research at KLAS. Jason has worked with hundreds of CIOs healthcare providers and vendor executives in keeping a pulse on the performance of Healthcare IT. His main areas of expertise include: Health Information Exchanges, CPOE, Pharmacy, Surgery Management, Lab Emergency department, Smart Infusion pumps, Mobile Healthcare Solutions and others. Stephen Li, Cio/Vice president of Liberty Health is responsible for driving the tactical IS operations as well as position the organization for growth and achieving meaningful use. Liberty is a muilti-facility teaching healthcare system, recently voted the Top Hospital in NJ within the under 350 bed category. He has extensive experience in technology development, delivery and operations with Catholic Healthcare Partners, Holy Cross, KPMG, Applied Card Systems and others. Stephen has an engineering background and holds a BA from the University of California and an MBA from the university of Arizona.

Mr O'Byrne is the State Coordinator of the New Jersey Office for the Development, Implementation and Development of Health Information Technology (NJe-HIT), Department of Banking and Insurance (DOBI). In this position, Mr Byrne works with the New Jersey Health Information Technology Commission, Department of Health and Senior Services to create a New Jersey state wide electronic health information network. He seeks to coordinate all necessary local, state and federal departments and appropriate resources to establish a statewide economically self sufficient interoperable health information exchange (HIE).
Since January 2006, he has also served as the NJ Project Manager of the health Information Security and Privacy Collaboration (HISPC) a group of 43 states and territories funded by AHRQ and the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology to identify and resolve barriers to interoperable HIE. Mr O'Byrne founded the NJ DOBI HIPPA/HINT in 2002. This group of HIE stakeholders created the first HIPAA Implementation Guides in 2003 and lead to the smooth transition of the NAtional Provider Identifiers in New Jersey.
Mr O'Byrne has demonstrated his acuity to understand complex legislative and regulatory issues as they relate to HIT development and to bring divergent groups of stakeholders together. His new assignment as State Coordinator for NJ e-HIT places him in an ideal position to help implement laws, regulations and policies that will advance HIT development in New Jersey and other areas.

Rob Kagarise has played an integeral role in the development of Catholic Health East's (CHE) Information Technology Shared services (ITSS) organization since June of 2005. Prior to joining CHE, Rob spent ten years at Deloitte Consulting providing implementation and strategic planning services to organizations across a number of industries including healthcare. His current role as the Director of IS Strategic Planning at Catholic Health East includes responsibility for the development and implementation of key enterprise strategies including the evidenced based care clinical transformation program (CareLink) ambulatory affinity and strategy and Clarity project and portfolio management application. He also oversees the Project Management Center of Excellence (PMCoE) whose responsibilities include managing key initiatives, providing monthly enterprise executive reporting and managing the consolidated IS service level agreements. Based in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, CHE provides the means to ensure the continuation of the Catholic identity and operational strength of the sponsors' health ministries, which are located with 11 eastern states from Maine to Florida.

Tom has worked in Information Technology for over 20 years including software development, business process reengingeering and management in government, financial services, telecommunications, professional publishing and consulting to the life sciences industry. He currently manages the technology for the New York Clinical Information Exchange (NYCLIX) providing health information exchange services for New York's leading academic medical centers, home health care, ambulatory practices, nursing homes and a Medicaid special needs plan. Tom manages the implementation of the exchange and clinical portal in cooperation with member organization. he supports privacy & security policies, manages external projects, assists with business planning & strategy and supports research to evaluate the use of HIE.

Lonny Reisman M.D., is Aetna's chief medical officer. In this role he is responsible for the company's clinical strategy which seeks to improve the health of Aetna's members. Dr Reisman is a recognized leader in health information technology, patient safety and evidence based medicine and has published numerous medical articles. Dr Reisman most recently served as ActiveHealth Management's Chief Executive Officer and as a Director since October 1998. He co-founded ActiveHealth management, Now an Aetna subsidiary following nearly 20 years of experience as a physician and consultant to large employers concerned about health care quality and costs. Dr Reisman led the development of the Active Health CareEngine System a clinical decision support technology platform that received a U.S. Patent in 2004.
Dr Reisman was a principle in the Managed Care Group of William M. Mercer from 1991 to 1998, where he led numerous consulting engagements with Fortune 500 corporations that focused on managing the demand for health care resources.
Dr. Reisman was an attending physician at NY Hospital and St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center between 1987 and 1999 and was a cardiology fellow at the University of Chicago from 1985 to 1987. He received his undergraduate degree from SUNY at Stony Brook and his medical degree from Tel Aviv University

Ms Evens has 17 years experience in healthcare including senior federal and state health information technology (IT) policy and governmental initiatives; execute roles within private sector health iT corporations; healthcare provider organizations and health services and policy research. She writes and speaks regulary on health iT across the country and participates in numerous federal, state and industry initiatives as a national expert.
Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer, Ms Evans is leading Active Health Provider as business of ActiveHealth Management. Most recently Ms Evans served as a Deputy Commissioner of the New York State Department of health leading an office of Health Information Technology Transformation where she oversaw a near $250 million investment program inNew York's health Information infrastructue- coupled with new health care payment and care delivery models- to improve the quality and reduce the cost of healthcare. New York's strategy serves as a critical underpin to health reform in New York and is serving as a model for the country.
Ms Evans previously served as a Senior Advisor to the nation's first National Coordinator for Health Information Technology in the United States Department of Health and Human Services. She was responsible for launching initiatives for the certification of health information tools, modernization of health information standards, nationwide information sharing architectures and evaluation of new policies for protecting patient privacy.
Ms Evans also has significant experience in the private sector. Prior to joining New York State, Ms Evans was a Managing Director of Manatt Health Solutions a policy and business advisory division of Manatt, Phelps and Phillips, wher she advised corporations on their health information and care improvementstrategies. Ms Evens has also served as Director of the Care Data Exchange division for CareCcience, Inc a care management company and provider of Internet based technologies serving hospitals and provider communities across the US.
Prior to joining CareScience, Ms Evans worked for the leadership and strategic operations group of the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group in Northern California.

Mr Belfort has extensive experience representing healthcare organizations on regulatory compliance and transactional matters. His clients include hospitals, community health centers, mental health providers, pharmacy chains, health insurers, IPAs, pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmacy benefit managers, information technology vendors and a variety of other businesses in the healthcare industry. he has also worked extensively with healthcare industry trade associations.
Mr Belfort has particular expertise in the following areas:

*Fraud and Abuse. He regularly advises clients on structuring transactions and conducting day-today business operations to ensure compliance with the Anti- Kickback Statute, the Stark law, Medicare and Medicaid participation and billing requirements, professional licensing rules and corporate practice of medicine and fee splitting restrictions. John has over 20 years of experience in Health Care Information Technology and Process Improvement. Leading Axolotl's exchange deployments since late 2006, John has been ensuring Axolotl's customers achieve success quickly and meet all stakeholder's goals. Prior to joining Axolotl, John served as the Chief Operating Officer for HealthBridge for five years, helping to build this RHIO into one of the nations largest and longest running, self sustaining HIE efforts. Before HealthBridge, John served as CIO for the Drake Center, as well as in Process Re-engineering and information Systems Management roles for 10 years at TriHealth Cincinnati.
John holds a MBA from Xavier University, an MA Industrial relations from the University of Cincinnati and is a 1977 graduate from the University of Cincinnati.

Steve Berman serves as the Director of Business Development at Montefiore Medical Center's subsidiary, Emerging Health Information Technology. Mr Berman is leading an effort to develop a new model for getting solo and group practitioners to adopt electronic medical records (EMRs) that will provide a seamless flow of patient clinical data from the doctor's office to admitting hospitals at Montifiore. From 2004 through 2008, Mr Berman was involved in increasing clinical adoption in the area of remote tele-monitoring, primarly of chronically ill geriatric patients. Montefiore Medical Center is a full service, integrated delivery system caring for patients in a 1,491-bed medical center that includes four hospitals, a large home healthcare agency; the largest school health program in the US; a 22-site medical group practice integrated throughout the Bronx and Westchester; and a care management organization providing services to 179,000 health plan members.

Dr Martinez is the quality Medical Director of the Office of Health Information Technology Transformation (OHITT). Established within the department of Health in 2007, it's goal is to enable improvements in healthcare quality, increase affordability and improve healthcare outcomes for the New Yorkers. In his role, he is charged with coordinating health iT programs and policies across public and private healthcare sectors. The Office is advancing New York's Health Information Infrastructure as a key underpinning to healthcare reform. Dr Martinez brings clinical and health plan management experience to health information exchange initiatives. Dr Martinez is a board- certified family practitioner and a fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice.

Marc Holland with over 30 years of healthcare IT experience, leads the healthcare research and advisory services practice at System Research Services (SRS). Mr Holland's research interests are focused on EMRs, EHRs, wireless devices, health information exchanges, telemedicine, remote patient monitoring, virtualization, systems integration, unified communications, business and clinical analytics and RFID. He is a nationally known expert in these areas and a frequent speaker at healthcare information technology conferences. Mr Holland was one of the original co-founders of SRS, which was first incorporated in 1983. Mr Holland recently returned to SRS on a full time basis after serving for four years as the Program Director for healthcare IT research at Health Industry Insights a wholly owned subsidiary of International Data Corporation (IDC): a program he created and led. IDC is a leading global IT market research firm.

Director of Strategic Initiatives, Greenway Medical Technologies, Inc. Rich has spent nearly two decade in the forefront of the grwoth of ambulatory healthcare information technology. An early college internship at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services as his awakening to the promise and challenges of healthcare. After graduating from Auburn University as a business and psychology student, Walsh embarked on entrepreneurial ventures in the dot.com arena before settling in with the life sciences division of IBM. He then moved directly into HIT by leading ambulatory EHR sales in Florida all while assisting the marketing and business development of A4 Health Systems and was significant in its successful growth through acquisition by Allscripts and through the subsequent merger with Misys before joining Greewnway Medical earlier this year as Director of Strategic Initiatives. For the Carrollton, GA- based EHR vendor, Walsh is leading the company's ventures with national consultancies into the stimulus-backed realms of grant stewardship, HIE, REC, FQHC and related national public policy projects, responsibilities that have again caused him to cross paths with HHS.

Mr Bernstein is a member of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP's Board of Directors, is Chairman of the Healthcare Division and is Administrative Partner of the New York office. Mr Bernstein's law practice concentrates on advising clients in the healthcare industry, including provider organizations, payor organizations, emerging companies and financial institutions. His practice also emphasizes strategic, business, transactional and regulatory matters.
Mr Bernstein counsels numerous states, providers, companies and coalitions on healthcare information infrastructure and associated regulatory and financial considerations. Glenn has worked in health care for 25 years and was the first employee hired at Axolotl in early 1995 as a systems architect and engineer. Prior to his role as President, Glenn was Executive Vice President over Sales and Marketing, responsible for all health Information Exchange (HIE) sales - to states, RHIOs and hospitals, Glenn previously held the role of VP of Business Development and served as Elysium Services, managing HIE implementation and Support, Medical Transcription Operations and HIM Consulting divisions. Glenn was the company's Product Manager until 2001.

Irene Koch is the Executive Director of Brooklyn Health Information exchange (BHIX) since 2007. Ms Koch oversees the activities of the BHIX regional health information exchange strategic initiatives for it's expansion and presence in the HIE landscape. Ms Koch has a particular expertise on privacy and governance issues related to electronic exchange of community-wide health information. She is a member of the Policy and Operations Council of the New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC) and a frequent contributor on issues relating to health information technology transformation. Ms Koch, an attorney, previously served as Associate General Counsel at Maimonides Medical centre, Assistant Counsel with New York State Department of Health and as a Associate at Wilkie Farr & Gallagher.
