Rob Kagarise Director of IT Strategic Planning, Catholic Health East

Rob Kagarise has played an integeral role in the development of Catholic Health East's (CHE) Information Technology Shared services (ITSS) organization since June of 2005. Prior to joining CHE, Rob spent ten years at Deloitte Consulting providing implementation and strategic planning services to organizations across a number of industries including healthcare. His current role as the Director of IS Strategic Planning at Catholic Health East includes responsibility for the development and implementation of key enterprise strategies including the evidenced based care clinical transformation program (CareLink) ambulatory affinity and strategy and Clarity project and portfolio management application

Mainframe applications and database containing comprehensive clinical information on all of its patients.
Mobile computing with tablet computers used by 3,500 nurses and other clinicians to download patient data from the mainframe daily, conduct and document each patient visit, and upload updated data. Clinician can transmit case data to and from the VNSNY network while in the regional office at home or via wireless while in the field.
