While Health Information Exchange is relatively new to some, there are a handful of hospitals, RHIOs and states that have been making progress for many years.  Recent reports that reveal the truth about HIE, their progress, struggles, adoption and improvements in patient care will be shared providing incite to those that are in preliminary stages of governance, sustainability and those that are well on their way to complete interoperability across an entire medical trading area and are evaluating the next step in adding value to their HIE.
